I need some memory jogging. Wanna go jogging… with my memory?
Why does my memory need to be jogged? Because the Fresno Bee is again collecting votes for their Fresno Bee People’s Choice awards. Voting ends… um… this Saturday, I think? Go vote for your favorites… but please… please… do not vote for national chains. Let’s support local businesses, eh?
Right… So to the jogging portion of our festivities. For some reason I can’t recall LOCAL entities for many of the categories listed. Alright, I’ll admit, some of those categories I consider to be silly and I don’t care… but some I do. So, here’s where you come in, Fresno readers of my blog. (If anyone still reads this thing… I sort of went off the island for a short while. Sorry. Depression does that… but I’ve been watching a lot of movies lately. It’s been delightful. I’ll blog about that later.)
Name some places for each of these categories, will ya? Or name a few for the categories you care about. Either way, maybe I can get a comprehensive list of local nominees who deserve the attention.

The photo at the top is of trophies made entirely out of Legos. I’m not sure what thay’re all about, but I thought they were cool, and if I won a People’s Choice award, I’d certainly rather have one like THAT than some useless dust collector.
