They just MIGHT be as smart as us. And if they’re as smart as us, who’s to say they aren’t smarter? And if they might be smarter, could it not be that they’re ACTUALLY aliens monitoring the GIANT SUPERCOMPUTER EXPERIMENT that is our home world?
